Drouhin Laforêt Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Laforêt is the domaine's most immediate Bourgogne Rouge: it comes from grapes grown in the Côte de Nuits and Macônnais areas and represents a young and fragrant interpretation of this noble grape variety, vinified for 7-8 months in steel and, for a small part, in oak barrels. This pleasant Pinot Noir is easy to drink, direct and immediate, of a luminous light ruby colour. On the nose, the bouquet is filled with floral notes of viola and sweet violets, with a complex, harmonious and pleasant fruity texture, reminiscent of cherries and some sweet spices, as well as the undergrowth and earth typical of the variety. The perfect label to bring the world of Burgundy's Pinot Noir giants to our doorstep, Laforêt is juicy and dynamic, with smooth tannins and graceful elegance. Excellent with risotto with meat sauce, but also with a nice selectiob of tasty cold cuts.
