The wine

Sangaetano summarizes in his name the cooperative soul of Due Palme which, in 2012, incorporated a small social winery in Lizzano, the "SanGaetano" in fact, to expand its portfolio with the production of Primitivo di Manduria. Here the soil is particularly red due to the presence of iron oxides, with calcareous and rocky substrate.

Always considered among the most important and requested Apulian reds both in Italy and abroad, Primitivo di Manduria presents itself as an extraordinary selection of grapes harvested early (hence the name Primitivo) and harvested by hand in boxes. The wine is aged for 6 months in American oak barriques, to enhance the tannins and the structure. Bottle refinement follows.

It has a dark ruby red color with intense purple reflections. On the nose each element is marked by elegance and softness. On the palate it is full-bodied, soft and rich in noble tannins, with a vanilla and cocoa finish.

Due Palme

All the wines are made with a clean and impeccable technique, starting naturally with the products that have written the history of the cooperative, and, therefore, of Apulian wine as a...
