The wine
Verdejo and Rioja? Yes, El Coto Verdejo. A unique and special single-variety wine from the characteristically cool Finca Carbonera, the highest altitude vineyards in DOCa Rioja. It is an ideal example of the new style of fruity white wines and although it is still an uncommon style in this region, El Coto Verdejo is very likely to rapidly become a classic wine. It has fine and intense aromas of tropical fruit and fennel, with an unctuous and elegant mouth and a lingering freshness.
