El Vínculo Reserva

El Vínculo originates from excellent, mature Tempranillo vines acquired by Alejandro Fernández in Castile-La Mancha. Having won international acclaim in the DO Ribera del Duero, this experienced winemaker has proved that good quality grape vines grown in the extreme continental climatic conditions of La Mancha, give rise to exceptional wines. For this express purpose, the modern winery, named in honour of an old bodega belonging to his parents, has been designed for the production of limited quantities of wines of superior quality.

This Reserva forms part of an Alejandro Fernández winning formula that is constant and consistent: a lengthy period of 24 months spent in American oak barrels with an important 12 month-long repose in bottle; a very dark cherry colour with garnet rim, intense black fruit intermingled with pleasantly spicy aromas reveal an elegant nose; a flavoursome, powerful wine with well-integrated tannins, showing complexity and balance on the palate that suggest great ageing potential.
