The wine
Named after the ancient Greek colony now called Empuréis, located in northern Catalunya on the Costa Brava, and displaying on its label a winged horse, the ‘pegasus’ symbol that appeared on the town’s coins in those times, Emporion is the “senior” wine made by this Empordà winery. A well-matured red wine which boasts good ageing potential.
