Errazuriz Las Pizarras Chardonnay
2018Spec sheet
The wine
In only some years of production, the Pizarras Chardonnay has already become an authentic expression of the terroir of Aconcagua. With a straw-yellow colour, it has an intense nose with delightful and fresh citric notes, as well as passion fruit, white peaches, and a hint of vanilla. As the wine opens up, the chalky character of its soil comes forward and transports us to the Aconcagua Costa appellation. An intense mineral undercurrent balances its creaminess and emphasizes its elegance. A multilayered and lingering finish indicate it will have a great ageing potential.
