The wine
The Lagrein from the Alto Adige winery Erste + Neue has a lively garnet color in the glass; on the nose it expresses a fruity varietal bouquet. The taste is lively, tannic and persistent. It goes well with red meat and game dishes. Also excellent with aged cheeses.
