The wine
Of a beautiful transparent garnet, typical and characteristic, it reveals notes of blackberry and black cherry on a plot of aromatic herbs, wet earth, undergrowth. At the next smell you can also perceive already evolved hints of spices, cinnamon and licorice. In the mouth it is opulent, powerful, warm, pleasantly enveloping, with incredibly silky and integrated tannins, never astringent. A Brunello with a multifaceted but universal taste, which leaves an enchanting balsamic finish.

Fattoria dei Barbi
Fattoria dei Barbi is truly one of the great wineries of Montalcino, and also the company which has produced Brunello wine continuously for the longest time. Brunello is a single-variety Sangiovese wine first created by the Biondi-Santi family in the late 19th century.
