The wine
Faustino I Gran Reserva 2014 is an emblematic Rioja wine, made mainly from Tempranillo grapes, complemented with Graciano and Mazuelo. This Gran Reserva stands out for its ageing of more than 24 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by a long rest in the bottle. In the glass, it has an intense ruby colour and offers complex aromas of ripe fruit, spices and notes of toasted wood. On the palate, it is elegant and silky, with well-integrated tannins and a long finish, ideal for pairing with red meats and cured cheeses.
