Fèlsina Toscana Chardonnay I Sistri

Very, Very Good. (Just Don't Overchill)

I wasn't sure the first time - entirely because my host left it in the fridge too long. Second bottle on a different occasion was more respectfully treated and, typical of Felsina, very good indeed. Nice ripe fruit, fresh and quite complex. Lovely with the likes of fresh crab. Felsina reds are also excellent and great value.

Nicely oaked

Bright, ripe chard with tropical fruit, a really nice level of oak (not too much) and decent acidity. Rich without being flabby.

Good classic style chardonnay

Rich and balanced, it is a fine example of its kind. For a couple of years it will get even better I guess.

Interessante

“I Sistri” di Felsina si presenta con un colore giallo paglierino intenso. Al naso si sente da subito frutta con una connotazione esotica, poi da sentori si attenuano questi sentori per lasciare spazio a note che derivano dal terreno e dal legno. All’assaggio è di buon corpo molto rotondo grazie a una vena fresca e sapida molto armoniosa. Manca un po' di mineralità per mio gusto personale....ma è un'ottima bottiglia.

Juste impeccable

Très content de cet achat. Le bois est présent mais juste subtile, le chardonnay est bien présent. C'était parfait pour l'entrée de mon repas et délicieux à partager avec des amis ;-)
