The wine
Giramonte of Tenuta Castiglioni produced by Frescobaldi has a wonderful, decisive and deep ruby red color. The bouquet is extraordinarily complex, with an enveloping and intense ripe fruit. In a second moment, sensations of licorice, vanilla and star anise emerge; finally the nose is seduced by toasted notes with a hint of light smoke. Enveloping on the palate, it gives rise to sensations as soft as velvet. It is warm and round, with intense fruity notes that return and a delicately spicy, fresh and elegant finish. The tannic texture is thin and dense.
