Gianfranco Fino Es is a large and generous wine, dark ruby red in color. The nose expresses a kaleidoscope of sensations and perfumes: enveloping notes that recall ripe fruit (myrtle, cherries, plums, also in jam) and oriental spices (cocoa, vanilla and coffee). A citrus trace then opens to an intense, full, generous taste, whose alcoholic breath is perfectly balanced by a well-defined acidity and an unexpected freshness. Very long, soft, it closes with a finish that returns forcefully on the fruit. Throughout the meal, it is ideal to accompany large red meat dishes, grilled or stewed.
