The legend of the name "Salvarenza" tells that a young woman named Renza, threatened by brigands, was saved by a noble knight in the place where the grapes of this great cru are produced. The vineyards, mainly on a straight foot, are over 100 years old, for a wine suitable for long aging, expressive and characteristic, with a bright gold color. The nose is complex and deep, mineral, full of sweet and enveloping fruity hints, with yellow flowers and exotic fruits in evidence. In the mouth it reveals fat, sapid, from the mineral register (hints of flint and cloves are caught), with hints of ripe pear and yellow peach. Dense, round and intense, it conquers with a clear and persistent finish. It goes well with tasty first courses, fish, white meats and aged cheeses.

Splendid Soave
A great looking golden yellow wine, with an elegant, slightly aromatic citrus-driven nose and fresh attack in the mouth. That freshness is supported by flavors of lime and herbs and both flavors are prolonged in the lengthy finish. Loved it!

Great italian white
Fresh, crisp, packed with fruit. Shows promise already, but needs some time to mature. Could potentially be a bargain if it can live up to the promise.

Very balanced wine
Veey balanced and pleasant wine. Slight touch of oxydation, toich of vanilla, bit oily, silky, Could easily last for another 3 years
La perfection n'existant pas, je mettrais plutôt 4,5 ! Sans être un fin connaisseur des vins italiens, celui ci a été ma vraie belle surprise récente, même si son prix flirte avec mon plafond pour un blanc. En 2016,belle année italienne, il est buvable actuellement.
