Solera 1847 is an elegant cream sherry blended expertly by the masters Gonzalez Byass. I buy it by the case from Vinissimus who deliver it promptly and superbly packaged direct from Spain. Dark in colour and velvety soft, with fig and raisins flavours. Wonderful as a dessert sherry with puddings and strong cheese. Unexpectedly, it can be enjoyed as an aperitif if served well chilled. I rate it as good as a Lustau East India sherry costing twice as much.

Great value Cream
There is no better Cream Sherry available at this price point, and this certainly outclasses those which are readily available in outlets in the UK, typically at twice the price.

Just our favorite
First tasted this on a visit to the Bodega in Jerez and have loved it ever since. Neither of us are fans of sweet sherry but this is the exception. There is just something about it that has us buying it again and again.

A lovely surprise.
I normally drink Fino or Manzanilla wine, but I bought this and was pleasantly surprised. Very smooth and wonderful slightly chilled. I will be buying this again, go on give it a try!

Great classic sweet sherry
I've been a port drinker for years, have always loved a good tawny, and then discovered this in Jerez and haven't looked back. If you have a sweet tooth, its the perfect sherry.
