The wine
This great winery recognised the Chardonnay potential for oak fermentation and pioneered its introduction into Spain. The two varieties retain their individual character as a result of careful blending, after partial fermentation in Limousin oak casks. The result is a wine of great complexity and intensity.
It is a splendidly aromatic wine that displays fresh, floral notes on a fruity background. Full-bodied on the palate and with considerable length, its silkiness and elegance are complemented by a hint of vanilla spice on the finish, due to a few months' ageing in French oak.
