The wine
Carlo Hauner, a Bohemian of Brescia origin transplanted to the Aeolian Islands, was a painter and designer (the Hierà label, locally "sciara", is the reproduction of one of his works); with these premises, the passion for oenology can be seen as a new, exciting challenge in an intense and full of interests life. Hierà, red produced with grapes grown on the island of Vulcano, offers a rich and intense bouquet on the nose, played on notes of red fruits, cherry, cocoa tobacco and clay. On the palate it is velvety and enveloping but does not lack grit; freshness, tannins and a good flavor quickly reach the balance.
