Brilliant ruby red. Bringing it to the nose you have the sensation of smelling a basket full of small ripe red and black berries, just picked: blueberries, raspberries, plums, currants and cherries. There is no shortage of floral and spicy notes: iris, lavender, violet, licorice, myrtle and rhubarb.
On the palate it is a combination of strength and grace, elegance and power. The flowers return fleshy, hand in hand with fern and moss; it is fresh, the tannin is widespread, it is a delicious, balanced, rich wine, with a long and tasty savory finish.
Suitable to accompany savory first courses such as pici with wild boar sauce, pici with garlic, mushroom soup, pasta and beans, or meat-based second courses: beef fillet, suckling pig, duck breast, pork fillet.
