The wine
La Xara is a Grenache wine from the Gastón plot, a recovered old vineyard with clay, chalky, and granite soil. After seven months ageing in French oak barrels, the resulting unfiltered and uncleared wine is subtle and aromatic on the nose, with intense notes of flowers and red fruit. A flavoursome, fresh and intense wine in the mouth with a wide variety of nuances to be discovered on tasting.
