Jaboulet La Croix des Vignes
2016Spec sheet
The wine
La Croix des Vignes is a fine and delicate red wine which was already sold in the 16th century. This vineyard is located in the historic heart of the Saint-Joseph vineyard, above Mauves and Tournon sur Rhône. The plot, facing south is made up of granite soil degraded to gore.
The wine is adorned with a deep purple color, almost black. Its nose develops peppery aromas with a hint of violet. In the mouth, the notes of peppery spices with a hint of violet bring out the typicality of the Syrah, but with the freshness of St-Joseph.
