The Barolo is a wine of great structure, garnet red with ruby reflections. The bouquet is of an intense aroma with clear hints of vanilla, toasted hazelnut, liquorice, tobacco and cinnamon. The fruity hint is particularly evident, with a prevalence of wild strawberries and blackberries. The taste is full-bodied and elegant, which is consistent with the olfactory sensations. The well-known boisée and the fruity taste are pleasing, which, fed by the refinement in partially new woods, blend perfectly in an embrace of persuasive pleasantness.
