La Braccesca Rosso di Montepulciano Sabazio
2021Spec sheet
The wine
The typical freshness of the traditional Sangiovese variety combines with the exuberance of the Merlot fruit to represent the ancient territory of Montepulciano. The name of the wine celebrates Sabatino Lulli, known as “Sabazio”, a monk of the abbey of Montepulciano who was the first, in the medieval period, to provide indications for the production of wine in the area.
It shows an intense ruby red color, notes of violet, fruit, rose and plum are perceptible to the nose; the taste is fine and fresh, harmonious, with sweet tannins and a savory finish. It goes perfectly with vegetable risotto, fresh cheeses, cold cuts and pasta with meat sauce.
