The wine

Located in the Agly valley, in the Roussillon region, Clos des Feés boasts parcels with fantastic geological diversity and different orientations that enormously enrich the wines they produce. From the respect shown to this great terroir, to the varieties which grow there, and as a result of the excellent work of a wine producer such as Bizeul, emanate wines of immense fruit expression, fresh, balanced and with marked purity.

Originating from a single parcel of old Garnacha vines that grow in some extreme climatic conditions (with glacier winds on more than 200 days a year), La Petite Sibérie is complemented with a small amount of Monastrell and Syrah (from 5 to 7%). Aged from 12 to 16 months in new French oak barrels and bottled without filtration, the result is a most appealing wine that evolves in the glass over time. With very complex aromas (notes of raspberry, cassis, spices, toast, liquorice, and vanilla hints...), firm silky tannins and a long and persistent finish. With a cellaring potential of up to 30 years and an ideal maturation point at 10 years.

Without any financial resources and with no other desire than to produce wine for pure pleasure, the passion and talent put into the endeavour by the pair led to the brilliant success of the first wine they produced, La Petite Sibérie. From then onwards, the winery has been continually...
