La Pua

After many years making white wines for other wineries, Comunica had the ‘thorn’ of making one for themselves. From this curiosity and the opportunity to obtain white grapes, ‘La Pua’ was born, the first white wine of Celler Comunica. Adding a touch of red Grenache on granite is their way of putting their own stamp that characterises their wines.

With ‘La Pua’, they wanted to make a white wine different from other white wines from Montsant. Although we will find in it everything we look for in a white Grenache, flowers, white fruit and hints of aromatic herbs, it also provides the silkiness, sweetness and some fresh red fruits of the red Grenache. A white wine with the good acidity provided by the granitic part, the volume of the clay-limestone and a certain minerality from the slate. A white wine to enjoy in the hot summer months and even on cold winter days’.
