The wine
Le Salette Amarone Pergole Vece is a wine of incredible intensity and structure, of a very dark ruby color. The nose expresses balsamic notes of blueberries, blackberries, cherries and rhubarb. A trace of chocolate opens up to a vigorous, important, enveloping taste, well balanced by a light acidity and a certain freshness. Very long in the finish, it closes on notes of aromatic herbs. Ideal to accompany important meat preparations, roasts and braised meats in particular, and aged cheeses. Also excellent as a meditation wine.
