Livio Felluga Sossò

Born in 1989, it takes its name from the small river "Sossó" which rises at the foot of the hill where the grapes come from. The result of a careful selection of Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grapes. A wine of great complexity and structure, it stands out for its elegant, ripe, fruity and sweet tannins. At sight it has a deep and impenetrable ruby red color with purple reflections; of considerable impact and penetration, with sweet notes of ripe fruit, primarily plum, blueberry and blackberry, and further development complexity with hints of violet, sage and rosemary, light but perfectly integrated with the suggestions of vanilla and cloves; very long and persistent, complete and complex. In the mouth it is of very important structure immediately noticeable, solid and dense but at the same time smooth and sensual; the velvety tannins and sweet flavors are refreshed and endowed with further impetus and length with a savory acidity; rich and mineral finish. Excellent in combination with red meats, roasts, feathered game, medium and long-aged cheeses.
