Vineyards
The three reds made by Luna Beberide come from vineyards in a particular location, the paraje de Valdetruchas, in Villafranca del Bierzo. The youngest vines, situated in the valley, are grown for making the young Mencía; those at medium altitude, around 500-600 metres, aged more than 60 years old, are used to produce Finca Luna Beberide (previously called Finca La Cuesta for this reason); and those planted at the top of the slope, at about 700-800 metres, are destined for Art, the most concentrated and mineral wine.

Bodegas y Viñedos Luna Beberide started up in 1986, in Bierzo, under the guidance of Alejandro Luna, with the purpose of making and offering fine wines with all due respect for the land and the vines.
