Typical expression of a grape variety unique in the international panorama for its power and longevity, the Sagrantino of Tenuta Castelbuono, certified organic, surprises for its softness, the result of skilful work in the vineyard and prolonged aging in large wooden barrels. The nose is a triumph of blackberry and blueberry jam, typical of the variety, with pleasant and intense notes of cherries in alcohol, carob and rose petals. Notes of licorice and chocolate embellish the organoleptic picture with a marked typicality. The taste is creamy, of great power and persuasiveness at the same time, long and persistent with chiseled tannins, of rare finesse, elegance and gentleness.
