Marchesi di Barolo Barbera d'Alba Peiragal
2021Spec sheet
The wine
Ruby red color with intense and brilliant garnet edges. Fresh, lively bouquet with a clear hint of black currant, berries, toasted hazelnut and vanilla. Of immediate pleasantness, balance and harmony, the taste is elegant, with enveloping and soft tannins. Pleasant are the spicy and the woody note that blend perfectly. Barbera Peiragal is complete on any occasion. It goes very well with the typical appetizers of the Langhe, veal with tuna sauce and vegetable flan, with first courses with rich seasonings and second courses with meat, boiled or roasted, but it also greatly enhances the traditional minestrone. It is the ideal companion for tomas and moderately seasoned hard cheeses.
