The wine
Considered one of the best Spanish Syrahs, the Valdepusa Syrah is an elegant wine with good fruit expression, and a fleshy, velvety mouthfeel.
An intense dark cherry colour, it shows considerable density, typical of a wine with a long life ahead. It exhibits complex aromas on the nose, cleverly combining well-ripened fruit and spicy notes, with balsamic and floral (violets) hints. Powerful and well-balanced, flavoursome and silky on the palate, it displays smooth acidity and an abundance of ripe tannins, which deliver a fleshy, velvety mouthfeel.
