The wine
A white very much in the Chablis style, which has had inactive yeasts used in the wine-making process that bring to the wine a rich structure adding to the aromas and flavour.
Mas Comtal, with the production of their Pomell de Blancs, has moved away from the typical Penedés whites, light and smooth wines, to bring out a white that is full of aromas and long-lasting creamy flavour, with tertiary aromas arising from ageing. (On its lees for 3 or 4 months in underground tanks.)
