The wine
Primarily and obviously a Garnacha with the addition of other varieties, this wine is cherry-red in colour with violet flecks and exudes exotic aromas of cherries. Nicely concentrated on the palate and fresh, with ripe sweet tannins.
Made from vines aged between 8 and 40 years old, grown on clay and granite soils, and cultivated organically with certification from the CCPAE (Catalan Council for Organic Agricultural Production).

The Capçanes Cooperative was founded in 1933 and currently numbers 125 members who contribute between them some 250 hectares of vineyards.
