Mascún Garnacha Crianza

very satisfactory for this price

I've been trying different wines from Somontano following a holiday there and this is the second time I've bought this one, being attracted by it being solely garnacha and older than most wines at this price. It doesn't have the vibrant deep red of younger tempranillos but once sniffed and in the mouth there's an explosion of perfumy fragrance.
