The wine
El Recio is a red that, just like the other Matsu wines, comes as a direct result of biodynamic viticulture methods and a deep respect for nature. This is a powerful, full-bodied wine, and easy to drink too.
Dark cherry red in colour, the wine displays aromas of chocolate, black fruit and vanilla, coming over as intense, silky, rounded and unctuous on the nose. There is plenty of power and body to this wine, and great finesse as well.
Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
