The wine
Zisola is the first wine (Doppiozeta has been produced only since 2006) fruit of the adventure undertaken by the Mazzei family in south-eastern Sicily. The goal with which the 21 hectares of vineyards that surround the two marvelous beams, sly guardians of the estate are worked, is to give expression to the Nero d 'Avola which in Zisola gives itself in all its splendor with notes of small fruits ripe red and black berries accompanied by a persuasive note of wood (the wine spends 10 months in new barriques for 33%).
