Spec sheet
The wine
Mikaël Bouges La Pente de Chavigny, a Loire's wine, comes from a plot facing south west on a clay-limestone soil of decalcified rocks and flint clays. The vines are on average 25 years old and offer a limited yield. The wine making is done in tank for 2 months with wild yeasts, with a minimum of sulfur.
Mikael gives us with the Pente de Chavigny an incredible vintage of gluttony, originality and pleasure. A straw yellow color with light green reflections, an expressive nose on beautiful floral and citrus notes, a fresh, lively and mineral mouth.
