The scarce 2019 Gaintus Dulce de Uva Sobremadurada was produced with red Sumoll grapes that were picked and hang inside a house to dehydrate them. So, the grapes are not overripe and are protected from the sun, concentrated by losing water but keeping the freshness of the fruit. It has very nice complexity with notes of nuts and a touch of botrytis, so honeyed and with red berry fruit and a touch of dried herbs. The wine has 12.5% natural alcohol, 150 grams of residual sugar and a low pH that gives it freshness. Only 733 half bottles were produced. It was bottled in June 2022.
