The wine
Montemarino Monferrato is a pleasant dry white wine, rich and original. It has a bright golden yellow color. The bouquet is reminiscent of a passito, not so sweet, but already of ultra-ripe fruit, with sugary hints evolved towards caramel; all dampened by a combination of alcohol and volatiles which is extremely fresh. In the mouth it appears powerful, sapid, of excellent depth and length. Perception of roundness given by aging in wood and good integration of flavors. The aftertaste, bitter, evokes dried fruit with shell, with a slight tannicity that contributes to the pleasure of the sip. Excellent in combination with seafood appetizers, soups, dry pasta and risotto with fish based sauces.
