The wine
A surprising Australian red wine from one of Victoria's most respected producers: Mount Langi Ghiran. Always among the public's favourites, it conquers with its cherry colour and its medium robe. Good cool-climate syrah.
What does this wine taste like?
Aromatic, restrained and compact, with hints of flowers, damp earth, plums and red fruits. Versatile and sober, without sharpness. Balsamic (eucalyptus) and spicy; medium-bodied, juicy but fluid and with good acidity. Spicy and elegant.
