This Amarone was called Corte Vaona to enhance the ancient paved farmyard in front of the manor house, where the Novaia company is located, owned by the Vaona family since the mid-18th century; the grapes of this wine are carefully selected from the vineyards owned by the Vaona brothers in order to obtain a soft and balanced wine that can repeat itself year after year in order to smooth out the differences marked by the climatic trend of the vintage.
The color is deep garnet red, the nose has an intense aroma, the strong fruit of black cherry and cherry, combined with the typical notes conferred by the drying. Characteristic is the presence of spicy nuances of bitter chocolate, tobacco and the appearance with aging of goudronate notes. On the palate it has a balanced alcoholicity, a high extract, a generous, turbid and persistent body, particularly intense the mineral note that gives the product its typicality.
