The wine
Gobbio Botticino di Noventa is a dry red wine made from Barbera, Sangiovese, Marzemino and Schiava Gentile grapes. The soil is particular and unique, rich and mineral, composed of marl, calcium carbonate, silt and sand. At sight it has a bright ruby red color; on the nose it expresses spicy and jam flavors, with a slight hint of cocoa. The sip is full and structured, with a nice tannin and a good persistence. Gobbio is a wine that also adapts to long aging, on the contrary, it evolves and is further refined with the passage of time. Excellent in combination with red meat, game, game and aged cheeses.
