Ornellaia Massetino

Massetino is a special, unique wine that goes far beyond excellence. The small Masseto is a real jewel of the Ornellaia estate; produced in Tuscany from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, it is certainly a great occasion wine. At sight it shows a deep and intense ruby red color; the sensations on the nose are complex and rich in aromas: notes of ripe fruit, cherries and morello cherries dominate the perfume. It is possible to perceive hints of earth, cocoa, coffee and cedar. On the palate the nasal perception explodes into a rich, ample and intense taste. The structure is well balanced by the freshness and the persistence is magical. Ideal in combination with rich and tasty dishes, especially with meat: beef, lamb and veal. Also excellent in combination with Tuscan cold cuts and cold cuts.
