The wine
Cannonau is one of the oldest grape varieties in Sardinia. Its Nuragic origin has now been established. Pala Cannonau has a dark red color with an impenetrable ruby-purple edge. Notes of blackberry jam, small red fruits combined with notes of leather and spices. Tannin present but elegant, structure and body, long persistence. Ideal in combination with grilled or braised red meats, savory or spicy first courses, aged cheeses, game.
