The wine
This is a full-bodied Albariño that can readily spend several years in bottle.
A pale yellow colour and bright in appearance, the wine has a complex nose with considerable depth, revealing varietal notes of ripe apple, citrus fruits, rose petals and stoned fruit on a mineral background. It is voluminous, oily and balanced on the palate, with fruit aromas on the retronasal passage, accompanied by toasty notes from time spent on its lees.
No malolactic fermentation. Aged for 34 months on its lees in tank.
