The wine
Sourced from fine fruit parcels in premium vineyards located in various growing regions, the light to medium-bodied Koonunga Hill Chardonnay was first released in the early 1990s. Since then it has built up a solid reputation, reliably delivering great quality and value.
It offers attractively clean fruitiness, a light creamy texture and some crisp acidity, enhanced by subtle spicy notes from partial oak ageing.
Partially aged in French oak barrels for 7-8 months, with some parcels remaining unoaked to maintain a fresh fruit feel.
