The wine
Perelada is a historic winery from the north of Catalonia, well-known for both high quality, fascinating and exclusive wines such as Finca Garbet or today’s recommendation, Finca Malaveïna, as well as original, more economic wines. Finca Malaveïna is the most well-known and easy to understand of their range of Vinos de Finca, estate wines which offer a pure expression of their vineyards.
What does this wine taste like?
The result is a powerful and concentrated wine, but in no way an aggressive one. Delightful aromas of violets, roses and black fruit with ageing notes and a mineral background accompany a complex, creamy, mature and smooth taste on the palate. All in all, an excellent Emporda estate wine with a splendid potential for laying down and great value for money.
