The wine
Mas Perinet has released its “top” wine in a vintage very highly considered in the Priorat. Sourced from Cariñena and Garnacha vines aged over 80 years old, Perinet Plus is a wine of undeniable character.
Dark cherry-red in colour, this wine is complex, elegant and very concentrated, proffering notes of ripe red fruits, enveloped in touches of minerals, spices and wood. It is smooth, elegant and most pleasant on the palate, with a silky feel and plenty of body. The tannins are sweet and grainy-textured, while the finish is deliciously tasty and persistent.
Aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels.
