Piccoli Valpolicella Sup. Rocolo

The Valpolicella Superiore Rocolo of the Piccoli winery is a wine of great structure, ideal with red meats and game. Recommended with mature and tasty cheeses. It goes well with traditional Veronese dishes, such as first courses based on meat sauces, risottos and boiled meats. Ruby red in color with purple reflections, the nose is elegant and complex, the floral notes of rose and wild berries blend with more lively aromas that evoke tobacco, eucalyptus and mint, enhanced by an intriguing balsamic. On the palate it is soft, warm and balanced, hints of red fruit such as cherry and raspberry bind to vanilla that is never too excessive. Long finish of marked and dynamic elegance.
