The wine
Il Pino is one of the most important Sangiovese red wines from Podere Fontesecca; at sight it has a beautiful bright ruby red color. The aromatic profile is powerful, characterized by hints of red fruits and sour cherries and notes of aromatic herbs such as rosemary, and tertiary memories including coffee, tobacco and iodine. The sip is ample in the mouth emphasized by the acid vein but well balanced with the softness of the tannin. Long and persistent, with final notes of ripe cherry. Perfect with pork tenderloin with herbs, beef stew, ricotta ravioli with bacon and pistachios.
