The wine
Ruby in colour with iodine-violet hues on the rim, this wine is dense and bright. It reveals complex aromas on the nose, with nuances of fruit, minerals and preserve that provide a varied display after decanting, as well as balsamic hints. Showing marked ripe tannins on the palate, it is full of flavour and velvety on the aftertaste.
Matured for 24 months in American oak barrels and for 6 months in French oak cones (large wooden vats). Subsequently left to mature for a further 36 months in bottle.
