Ruby-red in colour with golden hues on the rim, this wine is dense and bright. On the nose, it displays complex aromas, with nuances of fruit and compote, along with mineral, high roast and smoky notes once it has had the chance to breathe. Showing marked ripe tannins on the palate, it is full of flavour and velvety on the aftertaste.
Aged for 24 months in American oak barrels and afterwards for 4 months in French oak cones (large wooden vats), and finally restsfor a further 12 months in bottle.
